What is a typical day at HRG like for you?
When I am in the field, I sample soil, groundwater, and air.  I also collect depth-to-water measurements in monitoring wells and perform slug tests.  When I am in the office, I draw groundwater contour flow maps, complete reports, and work with others to help them on their projects.

What brought you to HRG?
The work environment and an opportunity to advance brought me to HRG.

What has been your favorite project so far, and what responsibilities did you have on this project?
My favorite project has been working at a commercial fabrication facility.  I have installed wells, and I visit the site frequently to collect water  and product measurements.  I have surveyed wells, sampled groundwater, and helped to recover product from monitoring wells on site.

What do you like best about your job?
Learning from my co-workers.  They help me to become better in my field of work.

What skills have you gained since you began working at HRG?
I learned the appropriate protocols for sampling.  I have also learned a lot about the Land Recycling Program.

In which areas do you wish to grow?
I wish to grow stronger working with groundwater modeling software.

What would you tell upcoming graduates is the best reason to work for HRG?
Everyone is friendly and willing to go the extra mile to help you.
