Garrett Gass

Group Manager | Survey

Garrett is responsible for managing projects from conception to completion, including proposals and estimating. He oversees survey department personnel, topographic, boundary, ALTA/NSPS surveys, and construction layout services for civil, structural, and mechanical projects. Garrett is also responsible for the implementation and execution of Reality Capture at HRG including the use of laser scanners and LIDAR / Photogrammetry drones.

His surveying experience after college began with a summer internship surveying with the Bureau of Land Management in Alaska. He followed this with working as a crew chief on numerous Marcellus Shale Gas Development projects, including well pads, pipelines, roads, and compressor station construction. He also has significant experience in PennDOT / PA Turnpike Transportation and electric transmission projects during that time period. Garrett currently has a land development focus with an emphasis on projects for Penn State University, solar energy development, and building construction.
