Al Vennettilli, PE

Al began his career assisting with municipal public works for Los Angeles County and has spent the last 17 years working as a consulting engineer for dozens of municipalities in Pennsylvania. In between, he traveled hundreds of miles, planted roots in different states, and gained a wide variety of experience in the public and private sector, working for engineering firms, a private land developer/builder, and municipalities big and small.

Al knows municipal operations from the consultant side and the government side. As a former director of public works for the West Chester Borough, he oversaw the operation and maintenance of the roadway, storm, and sanitary sewer systems; parks; parking lots, parking garages; streetlights and signage; traffic signals; snow removal; street sweeping; permits; vehicle fleet; and MS4 program. This experience makes him an excellent municipal engineer and liaison between municipal staff and their consulting firm.

He is knowledgeable and experienced, but always approachable and open to ideas. He strives for long-term value over short-term concerns because he cares about the future of the communities he serves. Once he builds a relationship with municipal staff, that relationship is for life. He still remains close to many of the municipal leaders he’s served over his career and roots for their continued success long after the contract ends.
