The Steering Committee

The Steering Committee is responsible for advancing and overseeing the planning process, including community outreach and public engagement activities. Meetings are held monthly.

The Master Revitalization Plan Steering Committee is made up of representatives from municipal partners and committed community organizations. Representatives from the Borough of Claysville, Donegal Township, the McGuffey School District, the Claysville Area Preservation and Revitalization Initiative (CAPRI), the Claysville Area Business Association (CABA), and the Association of Claysville Churches serve on the Steering Committee.

How the Plan is Funded

A combination of public , nonprofit, and private funding sources contributed to funding the plan. This strategy leverages traditional funding sources available for planning, while also inviting our strong business and nonprofit community to support and take ownership of the process.

Historic Preservation Consultant

Shannon M. Wright is a historic preservation consultant specializing in technical historic preservation nominations and applications, property research, adaptive reuse projects and architectural investigation. She is especially passionate about finding creative ways to enable historic buildings to thrive by marrying historic preservation and economic development. Her diverse experience working with historic districts and review boards, preservation and main street organizations, local governments and state agencies gives her a refreshing approach to historic preservation.
