Claysville Area Featured in the Observer-Reporter
The Claysville Area Master Revitalization Plan was featured in the Observer-Reporter. The article, published on April 8, highlights the need for revitalization, as well as the many advantages of the Claysville Area. The article recognizes the massive effort and ongoing work of the revitalization plan and, most importantly, the many people that have given time, energy, and funding to the revitalization effort.
Nathan Voytek of the Washington County Redevelopment Authority…praised the Claysville group, saying, “They have volunteers who are not only willing to devote the time, but are capable and knowledgeable in business. Not every community has people who are willing to step up.”
The article also announces a significant addition to the team backing the revitalization plan, First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Greene County.
Charles Trump, the CEO, said: “These are people you know, people you can trust. It’s a marriage of Claysville and a 97-year-old institution like us. A bank has responsibility for its communities.”
Welcome, and many thanks to First Federal!
