Environmental Scientist II
Ms. Zona is an environmental scientist with Herbert, Rowland & Grubic, Inc. Her responsibilities include being the biologist for natural resource investigations for projects within the public and private sector. These projects include natural resource investigations with subsequent findings report and permitting as required by the NEPA process. Ms. Zona provides municipal clients with a multitude of MS4 services including compliance inspections, outfall inspections and PCSM BMP inspections.

RELATED EXPERIENCE
From 2015 to 2019, Ms. Zona was an environmental compliance coordinator with North Fayette Township. Her responsibilities included overseeing the MS4 program, assisting in preparation of a Pollution Reduction Plan to meet DEP standards, updating the Act 167 Plan, inspecting construction sites to insure E&S compliance, implementing a Stormwater Management Fee and assisting Public Works with inspections of outfalls catch basins and post-construction stormwater ponds. Ms. Zona led staff training and coordinated public meetings with residents and business owners. She assisted the Sanitary Sewer Department by giving input on new Consent Order with ALCOSAN, grant applications for sanitary sewer extensions, compiling data from CCTV and updating sanitary sewer mapping.
