Threet Receives Rising Tide Award from American Water Works Association

Erin Threet, P.E., was given the Rising Tide Award by the Pennsylvania section of the American Water Works Association at its annual conference in Hershey, Pennsylvania, on April 22, 2015. Ms. Threet is a water and wastewater engineer and manager of Herbert, Rowland & Grubic, Inc.’s (HRG) Lewisburg, PA, office.

The Rising Tide Award is given each year to young professionals for their commitment and contributions to the water industry. Ms. Threet has nine years of experience in water and wastewater facilities planning, design, and permitting.

Joshua T. Fox, P.E., to be Honored as One of Central PA’s Forty Under 40

The Central Penn Business Journal has named Joshua T. Fox, P.E., to its 2014 Forty Under 40 list, which recognizes individuals for their commitment to business growth, professional excellence and the community. Fox serves as a Regional Service Group Manager for Herbert, Rowland & Grubic, Inc.’s (HRG) Water & Wastewater service group in the firm’s eastern region.

Fox is an associate of HRG and joined the firm in 2006. As a Regional Service Group Manager, he is responsible for leading, training, directing and supervising engineering staff and technicians in the planning, design, permitting and construction of water and wastewater infrastructure projects for municipal, private, and industrial clients. Additionally, he serves as project manager for multiple major projects ensuring technical quality, superior client communication, on-target delivery, and overall project success for clients.

In addition to his responsibilities at HRG, he currently serves as the Company Commander for Headquarters Company 3rd Battalion 103 Armor Regiment in Danville, PA. He has received numerous citations for his service and leadership including the Bronze Star for meritorious service.

Fox earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering technology from Pennsylvania College of Technology. He is a licensed professional engineer in Pennsylvania.

Fox is the third employee from the firm to receive this award within the past four years. The winners will be honored at a reception and awards program at the Hilton Harrisburg on Monday, October 27, 2014.
