Erin G. Letavic, M. Eng., P.E.
Senior Project Manager
Erin is known for her ability to see a path forward through the most complex water quality challenges, like restoring the Chesapeake Bay. Where others are blinded by a web of regulations, stakeholder interests, and resource limitations, she envisions a direct route to success, often a path that hasn’t been taken before. She has contributed to many of the region’s most creative and innovative water quality solutions.
Erin began her career with HRG assisting private sector businesses with land development and site design. Then she transitioned to municipal consulting, designing roadways, parks and recreational facilities, and stormwater management infrastructure. In 2011, Tropical Storm Lee brought her a new detour. Her municipal clients were devastated by flooding and needed help navigating new, unfamiliar funding programs. Erin was unafraid of the challenge. She helped her clients successfully obtain funds and increase resiliency, and she found a new passion that drives her work today: helping clients navigate complex government programs, manage limited resources, and create actionable strategies for environmental sustainability.
Erin is open: to new challenges and to the needs of her clients. She is fearless because she has faith and trusts that good work will get her team where they need to go. But it doesn’t happen by faith alone. She has a perfect blend of technical skills, strategic vision, and emotional intelligence to succeed. She is supportive, empathetic, and determined. She knows how to help clients define the scope of their goals, assemble a team with the right skills, and make the most of the resources available. She is a natural leader.
