Jason R. Hinz, P.E.

Civil Regional Service Group Manager

Mr. Hinz has more than nine years of professional experience in civil engineering.  As a member of HRG’s municipal services team, Mr. Hinz has assisted with the representation of various municipal clients throughout Cumberland, Dauphin, Adams, and Berks Counties. His responsibilities have included performing hydrologic and hydraulic computations for stormwater projects, permitting, assembling project manuals, project bidding, developing erosion and sediment pollution control plans, and conducting municipal plan reviews. Additionally, Mr. Hinz has represented HRG at Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors meetings for Lower Paxton Township, Londonderry Township, Township of Derry, and Hummelstown Borough.

RELATED EXPERIENCE

Prior to joining HRG, Mr. Hinz was a Design-Build Contracts Civil Engineer at Little Rock Air Force Base (LRAFB) in Jacksonville, AR. During his time at LRAFB, Mr. Hinz prepared requests for proposals, developed preliminary designs for new construction, prepared cost estimates, and provided construction oversight for multi-disciplinary projects. Mr. Hinz’s diverse background also includes a position as a Facilities and Infrastructure Manager at Joint Base Balad (JBB) in Iraq where he managed land development plans for the approximately 6,700 acre base helping to ensuring a smooth transition of the JBB facilities and infrastructure to the Government of Iraq.
