Herbert, Rowland & Grubic, Inc. (HRG) provided site design, plan preparation and secured municipal and other regulatory agency approvals for the Panera Bread expansion to the York Mall. The 8,600 square foot expansion included a 4,400 square foot Panera Bread and three additional 1,400 square foot retail units. Design of the improvements required relocating underground utilities, improving vehicular circulation and parking, providing landscaping with extensive screen plantings, and the design and detail of a small sewage pump station to pump the additional sewage created by this development to a sewage conveyance system on the Mall property. All improvements were designed for minimal impact to the overall operation of the Mall.
