Ms. Alam is the Civil Group Manager at the Herbert, Rowland & Grubic, Inc. (HRG) King of Prussia office. In addition to managing the civil engineering staff, she is involved with various aspects of water resources projects, and technical project reviews.
She has over 14 years of experience in water resources studies and design, stakeholder facilitation, program management, and project oversight throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Her experience includes project management, NPDES and MS4 permit compliance, green stormwater infrastructure (GSI) design, stormwater management facility design, stream restoration design, wetland mitigation, H&H modelling, watershed modeling, water quality analysis, erosion & sediment control design, cost estimation and stormwater financing studues. Her skills have been applied to a wide range of stormwater planning and engineering projects. In addition to client and public stakeholder meeting facilitation, Ms. Alam facilitates permit review meetings with project teams and state and local agency permitting staff throughout the entire design and review processes, from master planning to construction and post-construction phases.
