Steven Harmon

Steven primarily assists with the design of stormwater management facilities, but he also assists with grading as well as site layout and design.

He worked with a general contractor for four years before joining HRG and believes this is an experience every engineer should have. Thanks to his experience in the field, he says, he is able to help clients understand the cost implications of various design options and see the complications a design may present before it is finalized (thereby preventing the added time and cost associated with change orders).

Ultimately, he loves solving problems and is ready to tackle any challenge to help a client reach their goals. He’s a true team player who’s willing to take on any task and genuinely welcomes other people’s ideas in order to deliver the best possible results.

He developed a strong work ethic on the football field, playing from elementary school through college, and believes you should always put everything you have into every project.

In his spare time, he loves to be outdoors, golfing and fishing. His appreciation for nature drives him to consider sustainability and optimize the long-term impact of his projects.
