Mark Maguire Named Assistant Vice President
HRG has promoted Mark Maguire to assistant vice president, overseeing the firm’s data and capital solution service offerings. The position was created as part of an ongoing organizational realignment to scale the firm for growth while preserving its commitment to technical excellence and personalized service.
HRG’s original focus in civil engineering has broadened beyond design and construction in recent years to support the full scope of their client’s infrastructure needs. Data and information are playing a growing role in how businesses and governments make decisions, so the firm has been expanding its capacity to support those decisions with new service offerings related to the collection, management and utilization of data. This includes well-established expertise in surveying, geographic information systems, and finance alongside expansion into other technologies as clients’ needs evolve. This consolidated group of service offerings will be managed under Maguire’s leadership.
Maguire joined HRG in 2019 and has nearly 25 years of experience in the AEC industry with an emphasis on GIS and enterprise data-related functions. He holds a master’s degree in geography from Boston University and a geographic information systems Professional (GISP) certification. His experience includes spatial analysis and production, enterprise database design, field workflow development, and software implementation.
Erin Threet, HRG’s vice president of services, says, “Mark has a deep grasp of technology and a great mind for strategy. He has extensive experience working with our clients across all sectors, and he understands their needs well. He will do an excellent job serving them and shaping this area of our business.”
