Rolling Hills Drive provides access from East McMurray Road to the community’s recently built high school and park. East McMurray Road is a heavily travelled state route lined with residential homes. The intersection where these roads meet is signalized and has turn lanes in all directions.

The construction of these turn lanes would’ve required right-in, right-out restrictions from several residential driveways. As a result, homeowners would’ve been forced to travel out of their way any time they left their home, but HRG designed a creative solution to protect these homeowners’ access: We reconstructed a portion of East McMurray Road off of its original alignment. We then converted this portion of the original roadway into a private access road for homeowners and provided an intersection where they can enter the newly aligned state route in either direction, saving precious minutes off the drive to work, school, and shopping.

The community enjoys safe, efficient access to two exciting new amenities without inconveniencing the homeowners who live nearby.
