James Meisenbach Joins York as GIS Group Manager
We’re pleased to announce that James Meisenbach is joining our York office as GIS Group Manager. James is passionate about helping people in his job and in his personal time. He uses his technical skills to help clients leverage data for smart decision-making, but his greatest skills are interpersonal: listening and understanding what people need, building trust, and fostering a safe environment for honest communication. His core values are integrity, compassion, and humility. As a team leader, he embraces collaboration over hierarchy and clearly communicates goals to keep a project schedule and budget on track.
His professional experience spans most types of infrastructure assets: transportation, water and wastewater systems, fiber optic communications infrastructure, municipal public works, upstream and midstream oil and gas, and MS4 compliance. During the pandemic, he demonstrated his commitment to community by training to become a volunteer firefighter and emergency responder, building physical and mental skills to handle a wide variety of crises. The work has helped him deepen his existing empathy and compassion.

Matthew Attig has joined the civil engineering group at Herbert, Rowland & Grubic, Inc. He is the most recent person to join the firm’s rapidly growing York office, which has experienced a 75% increase in sales in the first quarter of 2022 and has been adding talent across all of its service areas.
HRG has hired Ryan Cummings as a project engineer in our York office. Ryan has seven years of experience in stormwater management, land development, and site design. He has primarily supported the construction of pipelines, well pads, roadways, bridges, and culverts. He is a licensed professional engineer in Pennsylvania and a member of both the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Society of Highway Engineers.
