Hyers Run Bridge Replacement

Herbert, Rowland & Grubic, Inc. (HRG) developed contract plans and provided construction phase services for the replacement of the Hyers Run Truss Bridge. The existing truss bridge had been built in 1936 and was listed in poor condition. The new steel plate girder bridge is located on a downstream alignment. It carries a single lane of CR 35/2 over the Little Kanawha River near Burnsville and is just over164 feet long with semi-integral abutments.
