Liz Lackey, P.E.

Team Leader | Water & Wastewater

Liz assists with planning, design, and permitting for new and rehabilitated water and wastewater infrastructure. She also completes studies and reports of water and wastewater related issues, performs design calculations, and prepares permitting applications for water and wastewater storage, conveyance, and treatment.

She previously serves as a water treatment process specialist with the City of Thornton, Colorado, where she implemented optimization strategies for a 50 million gallon per day ultrafiltration membrane plant and a 20 million gallon per day conventional plant. She also managed the city’s AWWA partnership for Safe Drinking Water Phase II and Phase III submissions.

Prior to that, she was an environmental engineer with IBM Microelectronics. Her responsibilities included providing support for a 3 million gallon per day biological treatment plant and managing SARA Title III Hazardous Materials and Toxic Chemical Release inventories.
